A lot has been said about Joseph. The conference seems to be dedicated to his memory, as one might expect given his upcoming bicentennial birthday. President Monson’s unapologetic pronouncements on Joseph’s virtues should reassure anyone who worries lest we trend toward the more RLDS/CoC point of view (and thank goodness we are not trending in that direction).
