Susan Winder and I both were freshman at BYU in Fall 1971. I look just as young as she does, and I have grandchildren too.

On the other hand, I was never pregnant.

But she is amazing to have no gray hair.

I though Sister Tanner did an excellent job. She both reaffirmed what Sister Beck had said but also clarified that men are nurturers, too.

Oops again, it is Elaine S. Dalton who had the marathon experience. (the YW talks are already up!!)

I did search and looks like Bro. Cook lost his first wife in 1984 and married Sis. Cook several years later. She has no biological children but the step children and step grandcbldren. And will now get to be a special nurturer to YW all over the world!

#77- so was Sis Cook single til she married Bro Cook? that is pretty cool. I heard her young women’s talk last week- if you all haven’t had the chance, definitely look it up when the talks are put up on lds.org In her YW talk, she shared a great story about a eveyday spiritual experience that occurred when she ran the Boston Marathon!!!

just to back up Steve, he’s not the only one who didn’t care for that arrangement, no offense to JJ Daynes!

I usually like all the arrangements of the Choir, their High on the Mountain Top was awesome. But on the Hie to Kolob, some of the words were so drawn out that I had a hard time even deciphering the words.

Oh, I see… According to lds.org, “Sister Cook inherited four wonderful children and became the grandmother of eight” when she married Brother Cook.

Man, these women who lead the Young Women look so young! And they have grandchildren?!? It feels very different from when I was a child in the 70s… I am so grateful for these scholarly, adventurous, faithful women!
