In our dinner, taquitos were eaten, testimonies were shared, hearts were gladdened. We fairly skipped home, so grateful that we had made the right choice, and had listened to that still, small voice saying, “Get Mexican!”

Imagine a diner, a big corner booth, three women (near strangers) sharing their life stories while a sleep deprived teen tries not to laugh at the lone male who is forced to listen to diapers, fertility, and child care talk. As the women talk shop, the lone male tries with moderate success to pull the conversation back into gender neutral territory with his clever quips.

It was fun.

(In the future we need to make sure someone from FMH attends all snackers; they post pictures!)

I was sorry you couldn’t make it to the screening, mmiles. I was looking forward to meeting you.

Meeting Margaret and Bruce, Sumer and Steve, Cchrissyy was quite nice. Sumer and Cchrissyy, I didn’t know how much I wanted to meet you, but it was delightful talking with you both. I hope our paths cross again.
