Thanks — I’m continuing to enjoy your selections. I’ve heard the song a number of times but never thought about it much, and would have assumed that it was an Appalachian folk song, but I see that it is an old English ballad. Cool.
I also recommend her version of “Cantique de Noel” (perhaps my favorite of this song–makes it more like a folk hymn again) and also “The Carol of the Birds.”
