Today I rendered unto the Illinois Department of Revenue that which I would not have had to render if my small business had not gone under last year. Fortunately, IDR did not demand nearly as much as I feared, and next year ought to be much kinder.
My printer went on strike at the last minute, which made things more exciting than I had hoped. Thanks to good neighbors, it all worked out in time.
