The Environmental Ethics Initiative at BYU is holding a conference with a stellar lineup of speakers, including Margaret Palmer, Professor at the University of Maryland in the Department of Entomology and in the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science (UMCES); Jonathan Foley, director of the Institute on the Environment at the University of Minnesota; and J. Baird Callicott, University Distinguished Research Professor of Philosophy and formerly Regents Professor of Philosophy at the University of North Texas. If you will be anywhere near BYU Thursday evening, Friday or Saturday don’t miss this.
In addition to these fine keynote speakers, we have an exciting lineup of panels and talks from people from all over the country with numerous concurrent sessions. It is free to the public. Here is the full schedule. Also look at George Handley’s write up at his blog on Patheos. The conference can be found on Facebook here. Tell your friends and join three days of great conversation, discussion and insightful presentations. I hope to see you there!
