A Poem for Holy Week

0413-blood-moon-eclipse_full_600Melody Newey is a frequent guest of the blog. We’re happy that she chose to share some of her poetry with us.

What has

become of

post and beam,

of the forgiven few who hung you there?

Where is the stone, the napkin, the doubter?

Where is

anything,

anyone who

touched

you then?

And does it

matter now,

tonight,

while your

voice fills

my heart,

pulses

through

veins

beneath

blood

moon.
