By Common Consent first promoted the efforts of Liahona Children’s Foundation to solve the problem of child hunger in developing countries in 2011. In this ongoing fight, you are invited to a Liahona Children’s Foundation’s Hunger fireside or banquet (or both) in your area to raise funds to feed starving families. Meet representatives from participating stakes from Peru, Guatemala, Cambodia and Ecuador while enjoying great food, dance and culture. See details below.

RSVPs are appreciated, but not necessary, at liahonachildren@gmail.com or walkerspad@aol.com. If you are interested in hosting an event with the coordinators please contact Brad Walker, (702) 528-4297. We’re especially looking for hosts in the SF Bay area and Spanish speakers.
Anyone want to work together on one in Portland? I’m not in a position where I could do it on my own, but I think we should have one here.
Do we just show up or RSVP?
You may RSVP, though it’s not mandatory, at liahonachildren@gmail.com
either but RSVP appreciated; Brad Walker 702-528-4297 walkerspad@aol.com
The time was left off the event at my home (Encinitas, CA – north county San Diego)- it’s 7-8:30 pm. It’s not necessary to RSVP.
For all the people who complain about what they think the church should do, it’s so nice to see people like LCNEF step up and do it.
this is wonderful; there is nothing within . . . almost 2,000 miles of where we live, but I still think this is wonderful–
it’s good that liahona children is getting coverage–
so I am ‘bumping’–
We had our event last evening in Richland, WA (eastern WA)
It was wonderful to be a part of something so worth the time. We had a great turn out of family and friends. The hosts of the event, (Bonnie Mithcell with Miryum Wuerch, Kimberly Spencer, Michell Walker, and Bonnie Stanfield) gave us all a challenge to support a stake of children, not just this year, but for years to come. WE Can change a generation!
SO SEATTLE, ALL EVENTS IN CALIFORNIA AND UTAH, CAN YOU MEET OR BEAT OUR CHALLENGE TO FEED MALNOURISHED CHILDREN WITH LCF?
My “casa” tonight in Alpine—7 to 9PM. Anyone along Wasatch front is invited. It is all okay if my basement and home is major crowded. Five beautiful members from South America are here with us now and want to share their message and report from the front. Please come if you can. Address is 13441 Grove Drive, Alpine. Private message me on facebook (Ron Madson) if you want direction–it is kind of out in the country.
