BHodges earned a BA in mass communications with a minor in religious studies at the University of Utah and a MALS in religious studies from Georgetown University. He wrote his thesis on intellectual disabilities in Mormon thought and history. He currently works at the Neal A. Maxwell Institute for Religious Scholarship. He was once nominated as having one of the “Best Beards in Mormon History.” He also plays drums for Jiminy Finn and the Moneydiggers. He really likes to read books. He lives in Utah with his spouse Kristen, their sweet little daughter (the first baby in the history of the world to travel in outer space), and their humble dog Chicken Delicious.
