J. Nelson-Seawright (aka JNS/Roasted Tomatoes) is a political scientist, his academic interests focusing on research methods, parties and elections, and Latin America. J. and his brilliant wife, known to the online world as Serenity Valley formerly ran the Latter-day Saint Liberation Front.

J.’s interests away from work include Mormon history, especially in the pre-Utah period; music; movies; literature; and getting enough sleep.
